Father Lion and Cub Happy Father's Day Card

A big male lion lies on a rocky ground with his front paws stretched out, looking straight ahead. He has a full, spiky mane that frames his face and sweeps down his chest. A small lion cub rests in front of him, tucked beside his chest and leaning on his paw, with its tail curling out toward the lower left. The lion's long tail trails along the bottom edge of the page and ends in a tufted tip. A few simple lines on the ground and some background shapes on the right finish the scene. The words Happy Father's Day are written in curly script across the top. Try coloring the mane in layers of gold, orange, and brown so the pointed locks stand out, then use a lighter tan for the cub to show the size difference. This page also works well as a handmade card to give to dad, grandpa, or another special person. Print it free and fold it in half.
