Ferris Wheel Wave at the Fair, Puppy Dog Pals Edition
Coloring guide
Two happy puppies lean out of a big Ferris wheel basket and wave their paws. One has fluffy fur and a bone-shaped tag, and the other has a heart tag and a spotted patch over one eye. The basket has scalloped trim and a large bow on the front. A busy fairground fills the rest of the page below them, with a carousel of horses, striped tents, a cotton candy cart, bunches of balloons, flower beds and small children walking along the path. Triangle bunting flags hang across the sky, and a second Ferris wheel with another gondola sits in the background. Pink and purple are nice picks for the basket and bow, and the balloons can be any bright mix. Print this free page for an easy afternoon activity. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sky: fill the open sky areas around the bunting and wheel with sky blue, and keep the fluffy clouds white.
- 2Color the trees and bushes with grass green, use forest green for the darkest bushes at the sides, and moss green for the tree on the far left.
- 3Fill the big puppy with caramel orange, including its ears, paws and body, and use honey gold for the smaller puppy's head and ears.
- 4Color the basket with bright blue and lemon yellow stripes, add cherry red stripes and the big bow in the middle, and use rose pink for the top scallop.
- 5Add marigold yellow to the ferris wheel rims and spokes, coral orange to the carousel roof and food stall awning, and pale sand to the path and the people's clothes.
- 6Optional: Leave the eye whites, the white tent tops and the cloud shapes uncolored so they pop against the bright areas.
