Fierce Dragon Head Side Profile With Horns and Scales

Coloring guide
A dragon's head is drawn in side view, facing left, with its mouth slightly open to show rows of small pointed teeth. One round eye with a slit pupil sits near the middle of the face. Rows of rounded, plate-like scales run along the brow, cheek and jaw, and a few tiny bumps trail near the eye and snout. Large curved horns sweep back from the top of the head, with pointed spiky frills and fins behind the jaw and cheek. The thick neck below is split into banded segments. Because the lines are clean and the scale shapes are fairly roomy, this page works well for older kids and teens who like detail. Try coloring each row of scales in a slightly different shade of one color, like light to dark green, so the plates stand out. It also makes a good printable for a fantasy unit or a dragon drawing lesson.
