Fiery Hot Wheels Car With a Number 68 Flame
Coloring guide
Down low in the center of the page sits a sporty car with its hood popped open, showing off a big engine and two angled air scoops on top. Tall, curly flames climb up behind it on both sides, so the whole thing feels fast and a little wild. The front wheel has a detailed multi-spoke rim, and the headlight, grille and side vents add lots of small spaces for careful coloring. Short speed lines streak along the ground under the tire, and a swoosh-style flame with the number 68 fills the bottom corner. Kids who like cars will enjoy the mix of big flame shapes and finer mechanical bits. Layer yellow, orange and red through the flames, then try a bright blue body on the car so it pops against the fire. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big flames: color the tall flame shapes on both sides of the car in golden orange, leaving the thin black outlines and the small tips for later.
- 2Fill the car body, hood, bumper and front panels with bright red, keeping the white license plate and the shiny chrome spots untouched.
- 3Color the windshield and the rear window area in light blue and sky blue, and add silver gray to the engine bay and wheel spokes.
- 4Paint the big number 68 in bright yellow, leaving the small highlights on the digits white.
- 5Add the flame tips in bright yellow and light gold, plus the coral orange flame ribbon near the right side of the car.
- 6Optional: Add a little charcoal gray shading under the hood vent and around the tire for extra depth.
