Here's a low sports car with flame-style streaks down its side, tearing through a curved track at a steep angle. It has a checkered rear spoiler, a tinted windshield and side window, and a big engine intake scoop poking up from the back. Two chunky wheels with detailed hubs are easy to spot. Behind the car, a large oval loop and a long ribbon of looping track sweep across the page, so it looks like the car is whipping through a stunt turn. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big gray track: color the loop ramp, the inside of the loop and the track surface with charcoal gray, leaving the empty loop window and background white.
- 2Add the orange track edges along the bottom, the top rim of the loop and the right side using bright orange and burnt orange.
- 3Fill the main car body with bright red and golden yellow, alternating big sections so the racer looks bold and striped.
- 4Color the blue parts of the car, such as the side window, roof panel and lower side, with bright blue and sky blue.
- 5Add the brown and rust brown details at the rear and under the body, then fill the wheels and engine scoop in charcoal gray and golden yellow.
- 6Optional: Add a few extra golden yellow flames and a little steel blue shading along the lower edges of the car for depth.
