This spotted Dalmatian puppy sits up straight with its tongue out, wearing a wide-brimmed hat so oversized it almost swallows its head. Flowers cluster along the brim and a small bird perches on top. A large ribbon bow is tied at the neck, and the long floppy ears, dark eye patches and scattered black spots are all waiting for color. The tail curls on the ground behind, and a simple curved hill line is the only background, which leaves lots of open space for little hands. - 1Color the big floppy hat and its brim in golden yellow, leaving the fluffy flower puffs white.
- 2Fill the leaves of the little bird perched on the hat with grass green.
- 3Color the large bow and its ribbon tails around the puppy's neck in rose pink.
- 4Add pale cream yellow to the small flower centers and the tiny touches on the hat.
- 5Color the puppy's tongue coral red, keeping the eyes, teeth and fur white, then leave the ground white.
- 6Optional: add a soft shadow of golden yellow under the brim and a little darker pink on one side of the bow for depth.
