Hay Barn Scratch Time With a 101 Dalmatians Puppy

Sitting on a pile of straw, this spotted Dalmatian puppy squeezes its eyes shut, lets its tongue hang out and lifts one back leg for a good scratch. It has a simple collar, and its tail curls around at the bottom of the page. Behind it are wooden planks and what looks like a spoked wheel at the top right, with another spotted ear peeking in. The scribbly straw lines along the bottom give kids lots of texture to color. Big clear shapes make this a nice choice for younger children still building pencil control. Warm golden yellows suit the hay and soft browns suit the boards. Make the puppy's spots bold black, or go colorful if your child wants to.
