A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the cupcake cup body and the big side dots with sky blue, leaving the dots you want in lavender and lemon yellow for later.
- 2Color the wide cake top band with light orange, then add small dark dots on it as they are.
- 3Color the frosting swirls, the bottom lip, chin and the bottom center dot with soft pink, keeping the flower petals white.
- 4Add lavender to the upper and lower right dots and lemon yellow to the handle and lower left dot.
- 5Fill the flower centers with bright yellow and color the lower eye areas with pale blue.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shade along the edges of the blue cup and pink frosting, and leave the eye whites and shiny spots white.
