Flower Girl Tossing Petals Down the Wedding Aisle
Coloring guide
A smiling little flower girl strolls down the aisle with a woven basket in one hand, throwing petals with the other. She wears a flower crown, a dress with puffy sleeves, a wide sash and a full skirt, plus little Mary Jane shoes. More petals cover the ground around her feet. Rows of chairs line both sides of the aisle, each dressed up with a big bow, which gives the page a cozy ceremony feel. The dress and skirt are large and easy for small hands, and the petals, bows and basket weave offer smaller spots for older kids. Blush pink on the dress and petals looks sweet, with lavender or yellow for the crown and chair bows. Get the free PDF for a screen-free afternoon at home. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big light blue dress: color the full skirt, bodice and sleeves with sky blue, leaving the white petals on the ground untouched.
- 2Fill the girl's face, arms, hands, neck and legs with peach skin, then color the hair with dark brown on the top and sides.
- 3Color the chairs and their seat backs with light brown, then paint the bows and ribbons on each chair with soft pink.
- 4Add the soft pink sash around the waist and the bow at the back, and color the flower-girl basket with light brown weave and soft pink eggs.
- 5Color the flower petals scattered on the aisle and the front and back shoes with soft pink, keeping some petals and the shoe strap white. Optional: Add a little darker shading under the skirt folds and on the hair to add depth.
