Lakeside Picnic with Four Fluffy Oddbods

Four round, fluffy creatures are sharing a checkered picnic blanket under a large leafy tree, happily snacking. The biggest, in the middle, has bunny-like ears and lifts a sandwich to its smiling face. Two friends beside it munch on sandwiches too, while the one on the lower left nibbles a watermelon slice and a tiny one on the right holds an apple. The blanket also holds a woven basket of fruit with grapes and a banana, a stack of sandwiches, a plate of watermelon wedges, a bowl of strawberries, a pitcher and two glasses. In the background you'll see wildflowers, a calm lake, distant hills, pine trees and three butterflies fluttering above. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the lake, the distant mountains and the sky with sky blue and pale aqua, leaving a few white sparkles on the water.
- 2Color the big fluffy monster in the center with bright yellow, and add the same yellow to its antennas and feet, leaving the eye whites and shine spots white.
- 3Use light pink for the left creature, lavender purple for the bottom-left creature, sky blue for the right creature and warm orange for the bottom-right one, keeping the cheeks and eye whites white.
- 4Paint the tree leaves and bushes with leaf green and grass green, then fill the tree trunk with warm brown.
- 5Color the picnic blanket with coral pink, and add tomato red to the fruit basket, light gold to the sandwiches, and bright yellow to the juice pitcher and glasses.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the edges of the creatures and the trunk to make them look rounder.
