Flying a Ladybug Kite by the Pond, Miraculous Ladybug Style
Coloring guide
A smiling girl with a short bob and bangs runs across a grassy park, holding the string of a big ladybug-shaped kite floating above her. The kite has a happy face, two antennae, a round spotted body and a little bow-tie tail fluttering behind. She wears a dress, shoes and a polka-dot scarf that streams out in the breeze. Two small ducks paddle on a pond on the right, and puffy clouds, leafy trees, bushes, grass tufts and little flowers fill the rest of the scene. Large shapes and open spaces are easy for young kids, while the dots and scarf pattern add detail for older ones. Try bright red with black spots on the kite and a sunny yellow scarf so the girl stands out against the green grass. You can download it as a free PDF with no sign-up. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sky: fill the clouds with pale sky blue, leaving the gaps near the tree white.
- 2Fill the pond with aqua blue and the grass and reeds with lime green, then color the trees and bushes in grass green and forest green.
- 3Color the girl's face, arms, and legs in light peach, her hair in chestnut brown, and her dress and sleeves in golden yellow, keeping the little hair shine white.
- 4Color the big ladybug body and the scarf, shoes, and bows in cherry red, then add black spots to the ladybug and leave its face white.
- 5Fill the two ducks with lemon yellow and keep the sock and the bank highlights white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the dress and the hair with a deeper tone of the same color for depth.
