Up in the sky, a smiling winged pony soars with her wings spread wide and a scarf blowing behind her. Her spiky mane and long flowing tail stream in the wind. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big sky and cloud areas: color the clouds and the swirl behind the pegasus in pale sky blue and pale mint, and leave the sky background white.
- 2Fill the pegasus body, wings, and face in pale sky blue, keeping the eye whites and the sparkle highlights white.
- 3Color the rainbow mane and tail: bright blue, orange, violet purple, olive green and blue sections, working from the top down.
- 4Add the scarf in scarlet red, then color the trees in leaf green and the grass in grass green along the bottom.
- 5Color the cheering ponies: pale yellow, lilac, soft pink, and lavender purple manes and bodies, with the white pony left mostly white.
- 6Finish with the flags in hot pink, the sun center left white, and the small details like the flower patches and flag pole in khaki tan. Optional: Add a little darker shading under the wings and along the scarf for depth.
