Flying Reindeer Team Over Snowy Cottage

Six reindeer leap through the air in a long line, with antlers raised and legs tucked or stretched out as they pull along thin harness lines. Two reindeer at the bottom left face the viewer, and each wears a collar strap across its chest. The ones at the back are drawn smaller and in profile, near what looks like the front edge of a sleigh. Below on the right sits a small two-story house with a snow-covered roof, a chimney, a gabled window and several paned windows. A bare tree stands behind it, and a snowy fir tree and small drifts fill the ground. Try soft browns and tans for the reindeer, then leave the snow white or add pale blue shading so the cottage windows can glow in yellow. It is also a nice page for talking about near and far, since the reindeer shrink as they go back.
