Foot Anatomy With X-Ray, Sock and Sneaker

A big bare foot with five toes and toenails fills the center of the page. Next to it is an X-ray style foot with the toe, arch and heel bones drawn inside an outlined shape, so kids can compare the outside of a foot with the bones underneath. Around the two feet you'll find a small ribbed-cuff sock, a low-top sneaker with a hook-and-loop strap and a loop at the heel, and a row of five little footprints along the bottom. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the big foot, including all five toes, with peach skin, leaving the toenails white.
- 2Color the sock body sky blue, then fill the heel patch with ocean blue and the bottom of the sock with dark blue.
- 3Fill the x-ray bones with cream white and the outer edge of the x-ray foot with peach skin.
- 4Color the sneaker's side and tongue with ocean blue and sky blue, leaving the toe cap, laces and sole white.
- 5Fill the five small footprints: lemon yellow, grass green, tomato red, lavender purple and tangerine orange.
- 6Optional: add light shading along the edges of the foot and sock with a slightly darker shade of the same color to add depth.
