Football Huddle Up at the Line of Scrimmage
Coloring guide
A cartoon boy in a big helmet with a face mask crouches in the middle of the page, both gloved hands on a football standing upright on the field. He has a short-sleeved V-neck jersey, padded pants, tall socks and cleats. Three more kids in helmets and jerseys bend their knees behind him in ready stances, two on the right and one on the left. Simple field lines and a curved midfield circle cross the ground. Thick, clear outlines make this free printable easy for little hands. Use the same jersey colors for each team, then choose a bright shade for the center player's helmet stripe so he stands out from the others. Love this NFL / Football coloring page? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big grass field around the players in grass green, leaving the white field lines and circle unpainted.
- 2Fill the main helmet, the jersey, and the three background players' helmets and jerseys with bright red, leaving the white helmet stripes and jersey trim white.
- 3Paint the faces, arms, and background players' faces and arms with warm peach, keeping the eye whites and eye highlights white.
- 4Use football brown for the football, the ball laces, and the hair, then color the kicking tee light gray and the grass between the legs sage green.
- 5Finish the shoes in charcoal gray and the leg socks in brick red, keeping the shoe laces and shorts white.
- 6Optional: Add light shading along the edges of the football and the jersey with a slightly darker tone of the same color for extra depth.
