Kitten Tea Party Table with Cupcakes (44 Cats)
Coloring guide
Four kittens have gathered around a small round table for tea, and every one of them holds a teacup in both paws. Two sit at the back, one with a bow on her head and the other in a bow tie. The two in front sit on round cushions, and one has a flower on her ear. A three-tier stand piled with cupcakes is in the middle of the table, with a flowered teapot nearby and a few extra cups and saucers. A string of bunting hangs across the top, with some flags patterned in dots and stripes and others plain, and a scalloped rug lies under the table. Big shapes are easy for small hands, while the cupcakes and bunting give older kids smaller spots to work on. Pink and yellow frosting and a different bright color on every flag would be fun. - 1Start with the big pink rug under the table and the green, pink, blue and purple cushions, using baby pink for the rug center and rose pink for its scalloped edge.
- 2Color the gray cat's head, body and tail in light gray, then fill the orange cat and cream cat with tangerine orange and cream white.
- 3Paint the wooden table top and legs in caramel brown and warm tan, and color the cake stand tiers in soft aqua and butter yellow.
- 4Add the sky blue bow tie and teacups, the baby pink and lilac purple cups and saucers, and the rose pink teapot lid.
- 5Color the bunting pennants in butter yellow, sage green, rose pink, sky blue and lilac purple, then add pastel details to the cupcakes and flowers.
- 6Optional: Leave the white cat, its bow highlights and cupcake shine white, and add light shading to the cushions for a little extra depth.
