Rainbow Girl Power: Four Girls Holding Hands

Four happy girls stand side by side, holding hands in front of a big rainbow, and each has her own look to color. The first has long straight hair and wears a short-sleeved top under a pinafore-style dress with a front pocket. Next comes a girl with curly hair piled in a puff, a flower on her shirt, and a pleated skirt. The third has a bob with bangs and a hair clip, in a collared button-front dress with puffy sleeves. The last girl wears two braids and a heart on her shirt. Two fluffy clouds, flowers, and grass tufts fill in the background. There's lots of space on this free printable for crayons or markers. Go with a classic red-to-violet rainbow, then choose a different dress color for each girl so they stand apart. Fans of Girl Power coloring pages often like Wedding and For Kids as well.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big rainbow: color the outer band tomato red, the next band marigold yellow, then grass green and denim blue, leaving the space inside the arch white.
- 2Color the left cloud pale sky blue and leave the other clouds white. Fill the first girl's overalls and pocket with denim blue, and her top with bubblegum pink.
- 3Color the second girl's shirt lemon yellow and her skirt violet purple. Give the third girl a light blue blouse and a bubblegum pink skirt, and give the fourth girl a lavender top and a turquoise skirt.
- 4Fill all the faces, arms, and legs with tan skin or pale peach, as shown. Leave the eye whites, collar, socks, and the highlights in the hair white.
- 5Color the hair: chocolate brown for the first and second girls, caramel brown for the third girl, and lemon yellow for the fourth girl. Add the first girl's headband in tomato red.
- 6Finish with the shoes, leaves, and grass. The third girl's shoes are tomato red, and the grass and flower leaves are leaf green or grass green. Optional: add a few darker strokes on one side of each skirt for depth.
