Four Smiling Kids Gathered Around a Roast Turkey

Four happy children crowd around a big roasted turkey sitting on a large oval platter. On the left, a boy and a girl wear patterned headbands, and the girl has a tall feather and a long braid. She also wears a beaded necklace, and the boy has a collar necklace and a fringed, zigzag-trimmed outfit. On the right, a curly-haired girl in a bonnet-style cap stands next to a freckled boy in a tall buckled pilgrim hat. The boys on each end hold the edges of the platter with their hands. The turkey has small dots across its browned skin. This free page works well for a Thanksgiving table activity. Try coloring the headbands and necklaces with different patterns, then talk about how people share a meal together. The large turkey shape is easy for small hands to fill in.
