Pilgrim Boy and Girl Posing Beside a Roasted Turkey

A smiling pilgrim boy and girl stand side by side, drawn with simple rounded shapes and clean thick outlines. The boy wears a tall hat with a buckle, a collared shirt with two buttons, a wide belt with a square buckle, and short pants over boots. The girl wears a rounded bonnet and a dress with a scalloped collar and a wavy hem, and she holds a platter with a whole roasted turkey. Puffy clouds fill the sky, two maple leaves float nearby, and a leafy plant and tufts of grass sit near the bottom. The big open areas are easy for small hands to fill in. Try coloring the hats and clothes in classic browns, grays, and creams, then let kids pick bright fall shades for the leaves. This printable page also works well as a starting point for talking about the first Thanksgiving feast.
