Grinning Turkey in Pilgrim Hat Standing on Two Feet

A smiling cartoon turkey stands on two feet wearing a tall pilgrim hat with a wide brim and a buckle on the band. Its big round eyes look upward, and its beak is open in a cheerful grin with a wattle hanging beside it. One wing stretches out to the left as if waving hello, while the other wing rests against its body. Behind it, a large tail fans out in layered feather sections, each with its own curved lines and small tick marks along the edges. The shapes are big and open, so they work well for younger kids with chunky crayons. Try coloring each tail feather section a different shade, then talk about why turkeys and pilgrim hats show up at Thanksgiving. This printable page is also a nice quiet activity before the holiday meal.
