Front-Facing Cartoon Turkey With Wedge Feathers to Color

Front-Facing Cartoon Turkey With Wedge Feathers to Color

Coloring guide

A friendly cartoon turkey stands facing forward with a large round fan of tail feathers spread out behind it. The feathers are drawn as separate rounded sections divided by long lines, so there are plenty of wedges to fill in. The turkey has a small head with two oval eyes, a round beak with a little smile, and a tuft of feathers curling on top. Its long neck leads to a big round body, with a wing hanging down on each side that shows several finger-like feather tips. Two thin legs end in three-toed feet at the bottom. Try coloring each tail feather section a different shade, or repeat a pattern like red, orange, yellow, and brown around the fan. It also works well as a Thanksgiving table activity, and kids can practice staying inside the lines on the big, simple shapes.
