Four Lego Ninjago snake warriors line up side by side, and each one carries a different weapon. The warrior on the left rests a chunky club on his shoulder. Beside him, a figure with a long scaly snake tail holds a staff topped with a big curved blade. The third wears a hooded, cobra-style head and stands next to a tall double-bladed axe, with a coiled tail at his feet. The last one carries a long staff with a round mace head over his shoulder. Scale patterns, belts and small armor details make this a nice pick for kids who like careful coloring. With no background, there's lots of white space. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big body areas: color the lower sides of the round middle figure's body deep blue and its center panel golden yellow, leaving the thin black lines and small white highlights uncolored.
- 2Fill the green hood and shoulders of the figure on the right in forest green, and color the red pants and feet of the far right figure in bright red.
- 3Use army green on the legs and belt of the left figure, and olive green on the pants of the left figure's lower body, then add chestnut brown to the club handle and the axe staff.
- 4Color the axe blade and the club head in light gray and tan, and make the handle tips and boots dark brown.
- 5Keep the eyes, the teeth, and the white stand pole and axe hilt white so the figures pop against the background.
- 6Optional: Add a little caramel brown shading along the lower edges of the golden yellow and blue parts to give the figures some depth.
