Fox Girl on a Tree Stump in a Mushroom Forest, Anime Style
Coloring guide
Hugging her knees on a wide tree stump, a girl with fox ears and a big fluffy tail tilts her head and smiles gently. Her long wavy hair has a little flower clip, and she wears a ruffled dress with a hood, ribbon-tied sleeves and a round brooch at the chest. Chunky lace-up boots with fuzzy cuffs complete the look. Spotted mushrooms of different sizes and leafy plants cover the ground around the stump. Behind her stand tall tree trunks and leafy branches, with tiny winged bugs fluttering among the bushes. The fur on the tail and the leaf textures give kids lots of detail to color. Warm orange and cream suit the ears and tail, and bright reds and purples look good on the mushroom caps. - 1Start with the skin: fill the face, neck, hands and legs with skin peach, leaving the eye whites and the small highlights white.
- 2Color the hair and the fox ears with golden yellow, then use amber orange for the fluffy fox tail and the tail tip.
- 3Fill the hood and the sleeve bows with tomato red, and color the sleeves and dress trim with blush white, keeping the lace frills white.
- 4Paint the tree trunks and the stump in warm brown, and the boots and laces in dark brown, adding the boot fur in pale beige.
- 5Color the leafy background with leaf green for the bushes and forest green for the tree tops, then fill the grass and small plants with lime green.
- 6Finish the mushrooms in vermilion red and leave their white spots untouched. Optional: add a little darker shading under the tail and skirt with a deeper shade of the same colors.
