Freckled Witch with a Tiny Frown Flying Sideways

A small witch with big round eyes and a tiny frown flies sideways on a broomstick. She wears a tall pointed hat with a curved tip and a wide brim, and a few freckles dot each cheek. Her long hair streams out behind her with jagged, ragged ends, and her pointed cloak sweeps down below her. One hand grips the broom handle in front while the bristly broom tail trails off at the lower left. The shapes are large and simple, so the page works well for younger kids with chunky crayons. Try a deep purple hat and cloak, then use a lighter shade for the hair so the flowing strands stand out. The broom bristles are a good place to practice short, quick strokes in browns and yellows. It prints easily at home for a Halloween party or a quiet classroom activity.
