Friendly Cartoon Tarantula With Big Round Eyes

Coloring guide
A hairy-looking spider faces forward with two big round eyes, each with a solid black pupil, set on a rounded head. Its body has a jagged, zigzag top edge. Eight chunky legs spread out to both sides, and each leg is split into bold, rounded segments that are easy to color one by one. Two large fangs and a pair of smaller leg-like pedipalps hang down at the front near the face. The thick outlines and wide open spaces suit younger kids with crayons or markers. Try coloring each leg segment in a different shade of brown, then count the legs together and talk about why spiders have eight. This page is free to print, so you can make extra copies for a classroom bug unit.
