Stone Castle Guarded by a Friendly Dragon

Resting on a rocky ledge next to a tall stone castle, a smiling dragon with curled horns has one big wing stretched out behind it and its spiky tail curling around the other side. The castle has pointed tower roofs with tiny tiles, waving flags, arched windows, a crest with a fleur-de-lis shield, and a big wooden gate with studs. A winding stone path runs past pine trees, round leafy bushes and little flowers to the entrance. Mountains, a river, fluffy clouds and a round sun fill the background. Bricks, scales and tiles are small and plentiful, which suits kids who love detail and quiet afternoons. Try soft purples or greens for the wings, warm gray for the castle stones, and red for the flags. Grab the free printable PDF for your growing collection.
