Castle in the Mountains With a Friendly Dragon

Sitting upright up front is a smiling young dragon with curved horns, big sparkly eyes, and a spotted belly. Its wings spread wide behind it and its long tail curls toward the bottom corner. A winding path leads up behind the dragon to a stone castle with tall pointed towers, flags, arched windows, and a big front door. Mountains, pine trees, bushy hills, and a small waterfall fill the background, and rocks, grass tufts, and flowers decorate the front. Younger kids can tackle the large open wings and belly, while the trees and castle bricks give older kids finer work. Soft greens and teals would suit the scales, with warm yellow belly spots and bright petals on the flowers. This free printable is easy to use at home or in the classroom.
