Puppy Pats from a Gentle Robot, Big Hero 6 Coloring Page
Coloring guide
Sitting on the grass with its legs stretched out, a little round-headed robot rests one hand gently on a happy puppy's head. The puppy sits between the robot's knees, eyes squeezed shut, tongue out and floppy ears hanging down. The robot has big shiny eyes, a small smile, an antenna on top, round ear pieces and a panel on its chest. A large tree trunk with a puffy, cloud-like leaf edge curves across the top right, and a bush sits on the left. In the top corner a butterfly flutters, trailing a dashed flight path, and tufts of grass dot the ground. Soft sky blue or silver for the robot and golden brown for the puppy will stand out nicely against green grass. Good for classroom time or a rainy day. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big areas: fill the robot's helmet, chest, arms and legs with sky blue, and use light blue on the top of the helmet and the neck.
- 2Use royal blue for the big round feet and the side ear pads on the helmet, and pale blue for the screen panel on the chest.
- 3Color the puppy in golden yellow, then add chocolate brown to its floppy ears and rose pink to its tongue.
- 4Fill the tree trunk with chocolate brown, the bushes and grass with leaf green, and paint the shoulders and belt bands light gray.
- 5Add the butterfly with rose pink and tangerine orange on its wings, and color the antenna ball bright red.
- 6Optional: Leave the big eye whites and the face panel's highlights white for a little sparkle, and add a soft second layer of shading on the robot's arms.
