Funny Cartoon Deer Walking on Hind Legs

A goofy cartoon deer strides across the page on its two back legs, leaning forward with one front leg stretched behind it and the other bent up in front. Its long thin neck holds up a head with big round eyes looking off to the side, a large dark nose, and a wide curved muzzle. Two tall antlers curl up from the top of its head, each with several pointed tines. You can also see little tufts of fur on its chest, a small ear, and dark hooves on all four feet. The lines are bold and the shapes are large, so it works well for younger kids using crayons or markers. Try coloring the hooves and nose in dark browns, then use two or three shades of brown on the body to show where the chest fur sits. This free printable is also a fun starting point for talking about how real deer usually walk.
