In the top left, a smiling ladybug sits on a big flower. Across from her at the top right, a cheerful bee with a striped body and rounded wings hovers in the air. Underneath, a butterfly with patterned wings rests on a large daisy-like bloom, and a little snail with a swirly shell slides along a leaf. At the bottom, a friendly caterpillar relaxes on another leaf beside a flower with rounded petals. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big flowers: fill the pink petals of the top-left flower with rose pink, and color the blue flowers at the bottom with sky blue.
- 2Paint all the leaves leaf green, including the big leaves under the snail and the leaves beside the caterpillar.
- 3Color the ladybug's shell bright red and its head dark gray, then fill its underside golden yellow.
- 4Give the butterfly amber orange and tangerine orange wings with bright violet spots, and color its body golden yellow. Keep the daisy petals white.
- 5Color the snail shell soft purple, its body cream beige, the caterpillar lime green with a grass green tail, and the bee golden yellow with soft black stripes.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shade at the edges of the leaves and petals for depth, and leave the eye whites, daisy petals and background white.
