Garden Bunny Finding an Easter Egg

Coloring guide
Leaning forward on big upright ears and wide, sparkly eyes, a happy little bunny reaches for a patterned egg tucked beside a leafy bush. The egg has zigzag and striped bands that are fun to fill in, and the bunny's fluffy round tail adds plenty of charm. A wooden picket fence stands at the right edge behind the bunny, and flowers with round petals bloom in the corners alongside tufts of grass and a few loose leaves near the bush. Clean, bold lines make it a good pick for preschoolers and early elementary kids, and it's a free printable that's easy to hand out at an Easter party or in the classroom. Soft lavender and sunny yellow stripes on the egg will stand out against a green bush and a pale gray bunny. Fans of Easter coloring pages often like Disney Easter and Fall as well.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the bunny's body, head, ears and front leg in caramel brown, leaving the cheek and eye whites untouched.
- 2Fill the inner parts of the long ears and the flower-shaped bits of the grass with light pink for a soft, cozy look.
- 3Color the big bush and grass patches in yellow green and deep green, then add medium green to the grass tufts for depth.
- 4Paint the easter egg in rose pink with sky blue and lavender purple bands, and add a golden yellow stripe near the top.
- 5Add the flowers in rose pink and lavender purple, with cream white for the fence and the fluffy tail and belly.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker brown shading along the bunny's belly and legs to make it pop, and leave small white highlights in the eyes.
