Standing in a flower meadow, a smiling baby goat tilts its head up toward four butterflies fluttering above. The kid has small curved horns, floppy ears, a little beard, a fluffy tail and tufts of fur on its chest and legs. Big daisies, tulips with closed buds, small blossoms and tall grass blades surround its hooves, while rounded bushes and gentle rolling hills fill the horizon. It's a lovely free printable for kids who like animals and gardens, with plenty of petals and wings to fill in. Younger children can begin with the large daisies and tulips, and older kids can add detail to the butterfly wings and goat fur. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the goat's body, face, and legs with caramel tan, leaving the muzzle and the eye whites white.
- 2Color the horns caramel tan, the inner ears soft pink, the tail cream, and the hooves chocolate brown.
- 3Paint the tulips with coral red and tomato red, then color the butterflies sky blue, golden yellow, and bubblegum pink.
- 4Fill the grass and background with grass green and the bushes with sage green, adding pale lime to the lighter grass blades.
- 5Color the leaves leaf green and the small flowers soft pink, and add mint green to the little grass patch, keeping the daisy petals white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker grass green to the shaded sides of the goat's body for a bit of depth.
