Garfield Strolling with a Giant Milkshake and Straw

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• cream white
• orange
• deep blue
• pale blue
• sky blue
• soft yellow
• tan brown
• golden yellow

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start by coloring Garfield's body, tail, and legs in orange, leaving the eye whites and teeth white.
2. 2Fill the big milkshake glass with pale blue on the lower part and rim band, then add deep blue for the darker shaded strips.
3. 3Color the whipped cream top and the puddle in cream white, keeping the little bubble highlights white.
4. 4Use sky blue on the glass base and the straw, and tan brown on the hand holding the glass.
5. 5Add soft yellow to Garfield's cheeks and lower face, and golden yellow to the milk drip.
6. 6Optional: add a little extra deep blue along the glass edges to make the shadows pop.
