Gary the Snail Slime Trail Cut-Out from SpongeBob SquarePants

Coloring guide
Gary the snail, from SpongeBob SquarePants, creeps across the page with big round eyes on two long stalks, both looking down and a little to the side. His tall shell has a bold spiral swirl on the front and lots of oval spots on the top and back. A wavy, puddle-like slime trail with a few little streaks runs underneath him. A dashed cut-out line goes around the whole figure, so kids can color it and then snip it out like a sticker. The big shapes are easy for small hands to fill in. A bright pink or orange shell with purple spots gives a classic Gary look, and a soft blue-gray works for the slimy trail. Print it at home for some screen-free fun. A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- tangerine orange
- golden yellow
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the big snail shell with tangerine orange, including the swirl and the lower part of the body.
- 2Color the small oval spot at the top of the shell with golden yellow.
- 3Use golden yellow for the slime puddle at the bottom, adding it to the gooey trail on the ground.
- 4Leave the big eye whites, the neck stalks and the round spots on the shell white so they pop against the color.
- 5Optional: Add a slightly darker tangerine orange along one side of the shell for a little depth.
