Three Bikini Bottom Friends from SpongeBob SquarePants

Each of these three Bikini Bottom friends has a very different attitude. Squidward is on the left with his hands on his hips, a half-closed, unimpressed look and big feet planted wide. SpongeBob is in the middle, grinning with arms out and mouth open, buck teeth showing, in his square pants and tie. Patrick is on the right, leaning back with one arm high, as if he's mid-dance or mid-cheer, in his patterned shorts. Only white space surrounds them, so little hands can concentrate on the characters. The lines are clean and the shapes are big and easy to fill, which makes this a handy free printable for a rainy afternoon. Bright yellow for SpongeBob, pink for Patrick and pale teal for Squidward are a good place to start. The Nickelodeon Bob l'éponge logo sits in the top corner. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color SpongeBob's body and his arms with golden yellow, leaving the eye whites, teeth, and the white glove on his right hand uncolored.
- 2Fill Patrick's star body, arms, and legs with coral pink, keeping his eye whites white.
- 3Color Squidward's head, neck, nose, arms, and legs with pale mint, then add sage green to the top of his head.
- 4Use chocolate brown for SpongeBob's pants and legs, and caramel tan for Squidward's shirt and collar, leaving the shirt highlights white.
- 5Color Patrick's shorts with lavender and lime green, and fill the logo's yellow letters with golden yellow and its background with sky blue.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading along the edges of each character with a deeper shade of the same color to make them pop.
