Genie and Baby Dragon Smiling Together, Shimmer and Shine
Coloring guide
In this Shimmer and Shine page, a cheerful genie hovers with her arms stretched wide, and a small horned dragon stands next to her. She has a tall, swooping ponytail, and her long hair curls into big flowing tendrils at the bottom. Her outfit includes a beaded headband, drop earrings, a jeweled collar, beaded cuffs and loose harem-style pants with a draped sash. The baby dragon has big sparkly eyes, cheek freckles and a wide grin, and it clutches a tiny bottle or gem in its hands. Nothing is drawn behind them, so the details stand out. Turquoise or teal for her outfit, gold for the beads and cuffs and a bright green or orange dragon would look good. Save it as a free PDF for a screen-free activity at home. - light lavender
- golden yellow
- peach skin
- soft violet
- sky blue
- pale cream
- rose pink
- dusty rose

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the genie's face, neck, shoulders and arms in peach skin, and the dragon's cheeks and chin in dusty rose, leaving the eye whites untouched.
- 2Fill the big genie pants and the long skirt with royal purple and soft violet, and color the baby dragon's head and body in light lavender.
- 3Color the ponytail, long flowing hair and turban in hot pink and rose pink, leaving the white curl highlight near the top of the hair and the white gift bag blank.
- 4Add the sky blue top on the genie's chest, then use golden yellow for the belt, the trim along the skirt and the tail tips.
- 5Finish the dragon's pale cream belly and hand, the sky blue horns, and the orchid pink strands on the far tail.
- 6Optional: add a few darker shades of your same colors on the skirt folds and pants creases to give the drawing more depth.
