Gentle Angel Bowing Her Head Over a Rose

An angel stands with her head bowed and her eyes closed, looking down toward a single rose held in her lowered hands. A round halo sits behind her head, and she wears a thin band across her curly, shoulder-length hair. Her long dress has puffy sleeves with fitted cuffs, a square neckline, and a wide sash tied in a knot at the waist with long ends hanging down the skirt. Two tall wings rise behind her, with layers of feathers that get longer toward the bottom. A few soft clouds curl around the lower edges. The feather rows are great for practicing blends, so try two or three shades of blue or gray on each wing, then color the rose a bold red to make it stand out.
