Gentle Bulbasaur Looking Aside, a Pokémon Classic

Bulbasaur stands on all fours and looks off to one side with large, shiny eyes and a wide, gentle smile. Two tiny nostril marks sit above the mouth. Small pointed ears rise from the head, and a few triangle and oval patches mark the forehead and face. Darker spots cover the body and legs, and each foot has three rounded claws. On its back, the plant bulb opens into a tall, curved leaf shape with long flowing lines. The outlines are clean and the spots are fairly big, so it works well for younger kids with crayons or older kids with fine markers. Try coloring the body in soft blue-green and the spots in a darker shade, then pick a fresh leafy green for the bulb so the plant stands out. Print as many copies as you need for a class or a rainy afternoon.
