Giant Light Bulb Lifter, a SuperZings Coloring Page
Coloring guide
A small, wide-eyed creature with a pointed, mask-like face strains to hold a huge light bulb over its head, which makes this one fun to color. One fist grips the side of the bulb while the other is clenched low near its cheek, as if it is flexing. The big mouth is open in an excited grin. Small bat-style wings flare out behind it and tiny feet poke out at the bottom. A small diamond-shaped emblem sits on the glass, and the bulb has a coiled, ridged metal base. With no background, the page stays clean for little hands. A yellow glass bulb with a silvery base looks good, and a purple or green body will make the character pop. Grab it as a free PDF for a relaxed afternoon. Fans of SuperZings coloring pages often like Shoppies Dolls and Naruto as well.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- sky blue
- bright red
- golden yellow
- peach
- soft pink
- dark plum
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big blue dome of the head and the blue foot and neck patches using sky blue.
- 2Fill the large red body areas, the wings and the mouth on the hat with bright red, leaving the eye whites and teeth untouched.
- 3Color the raised fist, the arm, the stripes and the hat trim with golden yellow.
- 4Add the peach skin on the lower face and cheek, then the soft pink tongue.
- 5Use dark plum for the inside corners of the open mouth, keeping the teeth white.
- 6Optional: add a few lines of slightly darker shading on the red and blue areas to make them look more dimensional.
