Giant Flames Surround Gigantamax Charizard
Coloring guide
A huge Gigantamax Charizard rears up with its head tipped back and its mouth open in a roar. A towering mass of wavy flames swirls off its head and wings and sweeps out to the left. Small diamond shapes pattern the big round belly, the front claws are raised and curled near the chest, and the feet have sharp, spread toes. A long curved tail on the left completes the pose. In the bottom left corner, a small color picture shows the orange body and fiery look for anyone who wants to copy it. For the flames, try bright yellow at the base fading to orange and red at the tips, with pale cream on the belly diamonds. Print or download it free for a weekend craft or class project. - 1Start with the big body shapes: fill the large belly, thighs, and legs with orange, leaving the small highlight spots and the claw tips white.
- 2Color the flames on the back, neck, and wings with pale yellow, then fill the rest of the flame shapes with golden orange and orange so they blend.
- 3Add the tail with pale yellow near the base and golden orange toward the tip, and use terracotta and copper brown for the arm and claw bases.
- 4Fill the dark belly spots and the foot pads with rust brown and dark brown, and color the open mouth with soft pink and the nose tip with fiery red.
- 5Finish the toe claws and the claws on the arms with light gray, keeping the small highlights white. Optional: add a little darker orange along the edges of the body for depth.
