Gingerbread Circle Christmas Mandala, Cookies Holding Hands

A big smiling gingerbread man stands in the middle, and seven smaller gingerbread men hold hands in a ring around him. Each cookie has a round happy face, a bow tie, three round buttons down the front and wavy icing lines on its arms and legs. Swirly lollipop-style spirals circle the group, and little dots and circles are scattered over the background, which gives the page a pattern-like, mandala feel. Little kids can handle the big shapes and thick outlines, and older kids can work on the icing squiggles and dots. Warm browns suit the cookies, and giving every bow tie its own bright color, such as red, green or blue, makes each one stand out. Print it at home for a fun afternoon activity.
