Gingerbread Man Waving at a Christmas Candy House
Coloring guide
A smiling gingerbread man stands on a stepping-stone path in front of a frosted gingerbread house, one arm up in a friendly wave. He has rosy cheeks, buttons down his tummy and a little bow tie. Behind him, the arched front door has a bow-topped wreath and a candy-cane-striped frame. The roof is covered in wavy icing, round candies, peppermint swirls and two hearts, with a big peppermint on the peak and a snow-topped brick chimney. Arched windows, swirly lollipops and tall candy canes fill the foreground, and small snowy pine trees peek out on both sides. Tiny patterns mixed with larger shapes make this a good fit for older kids, teens and adults who like detail. Red and white work for the candy canes and peppermints, with warm browns for the gingerbread. Print it free for a holiday break or a quiet afternoon. Love this Christmas (Adult) coloring page? - 2Fill the door and the path with chocolate brown and light tan, then add the gingerbread man's arms and feet in caramel orange.
- 3Color the trees with bright green and teal green, using dark green for the lower branches, and keep the snowy tree tops white.
- 4Paint the windows in sky blue and the heart shapes in bright red, adding butter yellow to the window frame and lemon yellow to the top right window arch.
- 5Color the chimney with maroon red and brick red, the lollipops with light green and bright green, and the candy canes with bright red and soft pink, keeping their stripes white.
- 6Optional: Add a little warm gray shading beside the gingerbread man and under the lollipops for a bit of depth.
