Giraffe on a Ladder Fixing the Spotlight, Sing (movie) Page
Coloring guide
Up on top of a tall stepladder, a cheerful young giraffe in a little flat cap reaches with both hands to adjust a big stage spotlight hanging from a metal truss. Light beams stretch down across the stage toward a standing microphone. Three simple chairs are lined up behind the microphone on the round wooden stage, and a big curtain with swooping scalloped drapes fills the background. The giraffe's round spots and tufted tail give kids plenty of shapes to color. This free printable is a good match for a Sing movie fan who likes the behind-the-scenes theater setting. Try warm yellow and orange spots on the giraffe and a deep red curtain so the spotlight beams show up well. Kids who like Sing (movie) coloring pages usually enjoy Bakugan and Num Noms too.

- 1Color the big stage curtains and the top valance bright red, using warm orange on the right side and in the rightmost folds, and add golden yellow scallops along the top edge.
- 2Fill the giraffe's neck, head, arms and legs with golden yellow, then dot the body with burnt orange and tangerine spots, leaving some spots white for contrast.
- 3Color the stage floor with soft apricot and the stage skirt at the bottom with golden yellow and bright red stripes.
- 4Color the three chair backs sky blue, and fill the ladder with caramel tan and chocolate brown, leaving the gaps between rungs white.
- 5Color the spotlight housing slate gray, its glow light cream, the light beams pale yellow and the hooves and tail tip dark brown; keep the background, truss and tiny highlights white.
- 6Optional: add light shading with a slightly darker shade along the curtain folds and the giraffe's belly for more depth.
