Savanna Animals Under an Acacia Tree: Countries Flag Page
Coloring guide
Under a big flat-topped acacia tree, a smiling giraffe, a baby zebra and a cheerful elephant huddle together in the grass. The giraffe bends its long neck down from behind, the little striped zebra stands at the front, and the elephant curls its trunk toward a small striped flag on a pole at the right edge. A round sun with rays sits in the top corner, and smaller acacias and grass tufts dot the distant horizon. There's something for every skill level here, from big patches on the giraffe to bold zebra stripes and smooth elephant skin. Golden yellow and orange-brown spots on the giraffe and soft gray for the elephant work well. The free PDF is ready to print at home. This fits right in with our Countries coloring pages — see also Math Pixel Art and Calendar.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the elephant's body, head and trunk with elephant gray, and fill its inner ears with rose pink; keep the tusks and eye whites white.
- 2Paint the giraffe's neck and body golden yellow, add burnt orange patches, color its face butter yellow and its ears rose pink, then fill the hooves with dark brown.
- 3Fill the tree canopy with forest green and leaf green, color the trunk warm brown, and add a few pale green highlights on the leaves.
- 4Keep the zebra's body white and color its hooves charcoal black, since the stripes are already drawn in black lines.
- 5Color the grass and ground with lime green and pale green, then fill the flag with royal blue and scarlet red stripes.
- 6Optional: add a few darker shades of golden yellow and warm brown on the giraffe and tree trunk for depth.
