Girl in Number 2 Jersey Catching Baseball

A cartoon girl leaps through the air with one arm stretched high, her big mitt open as a baseball drops right into it. She wears a ball cap with a smiling sun on the front, round glasses, and freckles across her cheeks, and her ponytail swings out behind her. Her jersey has a large number 2 on the chest, and she has baggy pants and sneakers with her legs bent mid-jump. Her other arm trails out to the side for balance. Small motion lines near the ball show it coming down fast. The big shapes on the jersey, cap, and glove are easy for younger kids to fill in. Try picking a team color for the jersey and cap, then talk about why players wear numbers. This free page also works well for a sports-day activity or a rainy afternoon.
