Girl Jumping to Shoot a Basketball

A girl with a long ponytail leaps off the ground in a side view, both arms raised high as she holds a basketball up near her face, ready to shoot. She wears a sleeveless jersey with a loose, flared skirt, knee-high socks, and sneakers, with her legs trailing behind her and a few small motion lines near her feet and hair. The ball shows the usual curved seam lines, which makes it easy to spot. The drawing uses loose, sketchy outlines with plenty of open space, so it works well for kids who like bigger areas to fill in. Try coloring the jersey and skirt in a team color pair, then add matching sneakers and socks. It also fits nicely into a lesson about team sports or a basketball unit in PE class.
