Girl on a Bike with a Flower Basket, Cute Park Ride
Coloring guide
A smiling girl with long hair and a headband pedals her bicycle down a winding path in a happy outdoor scene. Her short-sleeved dress has a round collar and a belt, and she wears tights and sturdy shoes. The woven basket on the front of the bike is overflowing with big daisy-style flowers. A small bird sits on a leafy branch of a large tree behind her, and rounded bushes and another tree fill the background. Tufts of grass and clusters of flowers dot the ground along the path. Large shapes on the dress, basket and wheels are easy for little hands, and the flowers and leaves give older kids smaller details to work on. Bright pinks and yellows on the basket flowers will stand out against the green grass. Print this sheet at home whenever you want a quick coloring break. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the girl's face, arms and legs: color them peach skin, leaving the eye whites, the sock and the collar white.
- 2Fill the dress with sky blue, including the bodice, sleeves and skirt, and color the pink belt and headband with coral pink.
- 3Color the hair chestnut brown, then add the tree trunks in chestnut brown and the leafy tops and bushes in grass green and leaf green.
- 4Color the bicycle: the basket in caramel tan, the frame in light gray and coral pink, and the tires and fenders in charcoal gray, leaving the spokes and hubs light.
- 5Paint the flower bouquet, leaving most petals white, and add coral pink and pale yellow centers. Keep the bird blue and the background white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the hair and dress with a second shade of the same color for depth.
