Beach Day with a Rainbow Rangers Girl and Dolphin
Coloring guide
Beside the waves, a cheerful girl with a long ponytail stands with a hand on her hip and grins at a happy dolphin leaping out of the water. Her outfit has a short-sleeved top with a seashell emblem on the shoulder, cuffed shorts, a belt with a round buckle and sturdy boots. Water splashes around the dolphin's tail, and a sailboat drifts along the horizon under puffy clouds. Down on the sand, you'll find a small sandcastle with a flag and a starfish in the corner. Shapes are big and clear, which is great for preschoolers and early elementary kids still working on pencil control. A soft blue-gray dolphin with bright turquoise splashes looks nice, and your child can choose any color for the girl's outfit. Print it for a quiet afternoon or a beach-themed class. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big sky-and-sea areas: color the ocean and the dolphin in sky blue, leaving the eye whites and the dolphin's teeth white.
- 2Fill the girl's skin areas (face, neck, arms, hands, and legs) with peach, and color the hair in warm brown, leaving a small white shine on the hair.
- 3Color the shorts and the romper in bright blue, then add the belt and buckle in light blue and the backpack in bright blue.
- 4Add the sand, the castle in sandy yellow, and the sails and boat with golden yellow and soft rose, then color the starfish in orange.
- 5Color the boots in hot pink, leaving the white cuffs and soles unpainted, and add light pink to the top collar and sleeve.
- 6Optional: Add splashes in bright blue and a little amber on the castle doorway to finish the scene.
