Long-Tailed Godzilla Roaring Before the City Skyline

A big Godzilla stands upright on two thick legs with its mouth wide open, showing rows of sharp teeth. Jagged spikes run down its back and along a very long, curving tail that sweeps up toward the right side of the page. One arm hangs low with clawed fingers, and the feet have large pointed toes. Behind the monster, simple outlined skyscrapers form a city skyline, with a few horizontal ground lines below. The large open shapes on the body and tail are easy for younger kids to fill in. Try coloring the skyline in dusky blues and grays so the creature stands out, then add a bold color to the back spikes. The printable page also works well for a lesson on scale, since you can talk about how tiny the buildings look next to the monster.
