Goku Dropping Into a Low Dragon Ball Z Fighting Stance
Coloring guide
Goku crouches into a low, wide stance with both fists clenched and his eyes narrowed in concentration. His trademark spiky hair sweeps up and back. He's dressed in his martial arts gi with a wrapped sash, wrist bands, a layered collar and tall lace-up boots. The baggy pants have small crease lines at the knees, so there are plenty of folds to shade. In the top corner you'll find a small black silhouette of the same pose that doubles as a color guide. With no background, it prints easily and is simple for young fans to finish. Orange for the gi and blue for the undershirt, sash and wrist bands is the usual route, and the hair can stay black or turn bold golden. Fans of Dragon Ball Z coloring pages often like Gravity Falls and The Flintstones as well.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- bright orange
- royal blue
- peach skin
- pale yellow
- golden yellow
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the gi: fill the torso, shoulders, pants and waist sash with bright orange, leaving the thin white lines along the folds as they are.
- 2Paint the skin areas in peach skin: the face, both arms, both fists and the hands, keeping the cheeks and forehead light.
- 3Color the hair with pale yellow on the lighter spikes and golden yellow on the darker spikes, leaving a few white edges for a bright, glowing look.
- 4Fill the undershirt collar, shin wraps, boots and the shoulder trim with royal blue, and add the boot laces in the same blue shade.
- 5Keep the background, the small inset box and the white highlights on the hair and gi untouched so the figure stands out.
- 6Optional: add a little darker orange along the lower pants and under the arms to give the figure a bit of depth.
